A deck centered around the characters Sabo, Portgas D. Ace, or Monkey D. Luffy in the One Piece TCG would greatly benefit from including the Monkey D. Garp card, as it has the potential to accelerate card advantage by drawing a high-cost card from the deck upon its entrance. While there may be better cards in terms of raw power or synergy with other cards, the utility of being able to search and add a specific high-cost card to your hand could make Monkey D. Garp worth including in such a deck, especially if the strategy revolves around building up powerful late-game plays.
