About Scratchmen Apoo OP14-008

Scratchmen Apoo OP14-008, Character - supernovas/on-air pirates special, designed by Eiichiro Oda first released in April 2026 in the set Booster Pack The Azure Sea's Seven. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.07.

Scratchmen Apoo OP14-008 is a low-cost 3‑DON!! red Supernovas/On‑Air Pirates character with 5000 power and 1000 counter, so it fits best in aggressive red decks that want early board presence while maintaining hand value for defensive counters—particularly Supernovas-focused builds or red-based Kid/Luffy-style tempo lists that aim to apply pressure and swing efficiently on curve. However, as a vanilla 5000 body with only 1000 counter and no impactful on-play or tempo effect, it is generally outclassed by stronger 3-cost red staples like Zoro (rush pressure), Gordon (power reduction utility), or other synergistic Supernovas that provide removal, card advantage, or combo value; even many generic 3-cost 5000s with relevant effects tend to be superior. As a result, Apoo is playable in budget or theme-pure Supernovas decks, but in competitive builds it likely does not warrant inclusion unless future support specifically rewards the On‑Air Pirates tag.
